The stoplights at Maple Street and 31 HWY/Park Road will be flashing beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. KDOT will be doing a chip and seal on the roadway beginning at 31 HWY and Maple Street, headed west. Midwest Engineering will be in Garnett this week to locate manholes for the wastewater project. Their staff will be driving a pickup with their logo, and be walking in various areas of town to locate the manholes. Their staff will have ID badges. Please do not be alarmed if you see Midwest Engineering in your neighborhood walking-they are not soliciting.
