The City of Garnett and Marvin Planning Consultants will hold a Town Hall Meeting on April 30, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Building (Anderson County Fairgrounds) for the City of Garnett Comprehensive Plan update project. This is an opportunity for all citizens and business owners to give input, and discuss the future growth and development in the city. "Everyone who lives or works in Garnett is invited", says Darin Wilson, Zoning Administrator.
This meeting will cover city-wide issues concerning opportunities and challenges facing our community. The planning team will be present to answer questions and discuss surveys and online participation. Topics will include housing, employment, public facilities, utilities, land use, transportation, and more.
