The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging has funding available for utility assistance. You must be age 60 or over and live in Anderson, Coffey, Franklin, Linn, Miami, or Osage counties. You must provide proof of income for ALL household residents. You must provide a current utility statement-and it must be in the applicant's name. You must meet income guidelines.
Co-payments may apply. Assistance will only be provided once in a twelve month period, and capped at $150.
